Cairde Khmer Make History at the Asian GAA Games
DLD Fund is proud to congratulate our grant partners Cairde Khmer GAA, whose ladies team have won the AGG Junior Cup for the first time ever at the Asian GAA Games in Bangkok.
Following their win, the team shared their thanks: “We couldn’t do it without the help of your sponsorship Aidan. A huge huge thanks from all at Cairde Khmer.”
“It was a privilege to witness the outstanding performances of the Cambodian teams at the Asian GAA Games in Bangkok. Their skill, athleticism and spirit truly lit up the competition. What impressed me most was the sense of community and pride they carried onto the field — a reflection of the growing strength of Gaelic games in Cambodia. These players are wonderful ambassadors for both their country and our games, and their achievements will inspire the continued development of the GAA across Southeast Asia.
— Jarlath Burns, Uachtarán CLG (President of the GAA)
